As a mastering engineer and music lover, my ultimate goal is to make the final product as perfect as possible.
Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of my tools and techniques. This allows me to make precise decisions for each track individually, tailoring the approach to what works best for its unique character. No two tracks are the same, and I ensure every one gets the attention it deserves to reach its full potential.
I work tirelessly until the result meets both your expectations and mine. If I come across issues that could be better resolved in the mix, I won’t hesitate to contact you. Together, we’ll address these challenges to achieve the best possible sound.
Personal and direct communication is at the heart of my process. I’m passionate about collaborating closely with you, giving your project the final polish it deserves, and celebrating the finished masterpiece together.
CHECK BEFORE SENDING THE FILES
Perfect Your Mix First:
Ensure your mix is as polished as possible before sending it to mastering. The mastering engineer adds final polish, but can’t fix mix issues.
Check for Technical Issues:
Listen for clicks, pops, and other mistakes, especially on critical tracks like vocals. Fix these before sending.
Bus Processing:
Keep bus processing if it’s essential to your mix’s sound. If unsure, send versions with and without processing.
Alternate Versions:
Print alternate versions if you’re unsure about levels or need different mixes (e.g., instrumental, clean version).
About Levels:
Avoid clipping and leave headroom in your mix to apply perfect dynamic processing. Keep peak levels below 0 dBFS (around -10 dBFS) for best results.
Export High-Resolution Files:
Export your mix at the session’s sample rate, with the highest bit depth available (32-bit float or 24-bit).
Leave Space at Start/End:
Include a few seconds of silence at the beginning and end of the track for a clean start and finish.
Label and Include Metadata:
Properly label your files, include a text document with track order, and provide necessary metadata.
Know Your Distribution Format:
Discuss distribution formats (e.g., streaming, CD, vinyl) and special requirements like DDP masters before sending files.
If you have any special requests or unique needs, don’t hesitate to contact me.
Stereo Mastering
is the final step in perfecting your track, ensuring it sounds polished and balanced across all listening platforms. We enhance the overall tonal quality, adjust levels, and optimize dynamics to give your music the clarity, depth, and punch it deserves. Whether for streaming, radio, or vinyl, we make sure your track translates perfectly everywhere.
Stem Mastering
gives you more control over your final sound by mastering individual stems (such as vocals, drums, bass, etc.) separately. This allows us to fine-tune each element for a more balanced and dynamic mix, ensuring every part of your track shines. Whether you want to enhance certain aspects or address specific issues, stem mastering provides the flexibility to achieve your desired result.
